Inter Milan will build a solid squad if they sign both Romelu Lukaku (29, Chelsea) and Paulo Dybala (28, Juventus).
Transfer Market, a media specializing in the transfer market, announced on the 17th (Korean time) a formation with a list of 11 players, saying, “This is a lineup that Inter Milan can build for the 2022-23 season.” The market value of this lineup is estimated at 515 million euros (about 700 billion won). This is the list of 4 new members added to the existing members.
The attacking team was played by Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez. Lukaku currently plays for Chelsea in the English Premier League (EPL). Lukaku, who played two-top with Lautaro at Inter Milan until the 2020-21 season, looks forward to returning to Inter Milan after a year.
British media reported: “Lukaku is trying to return to his former club Inter Milan until he cut his salary. However, we will pursue a transfer to Inter Milan in the form of a loan rather than a complete transfer.” Lukaku, who moved to Chelsea last summer for a transfer fee of £97.5 million (approximately 152.2 billion won), is expected to decide soon.
Dybala’s contract with Juventus expires after June of this year, and he becomes a free agent (FA). After the last game of the season in May, Juventus left a farewell message to the fans saying, “I will never forget everything I experienced at Juventus.”
According to local reports, Dybala has received love calls from Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, but will eventually join hands with Inter Milan. Dybala and Inter Milan have confirmed a four-year contract, and Dybala’s medical test is expected to proceed as soon as the summer vacation is over.
Besides Lukaku and Dybala, there are two more new faces. Brazilian central defender Glaison Bremer (25, Turin) and Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana (26, Ajax) are highly likely to move to Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan finished second in Serie A in the 2021-22 season. They are 2 points behind local rivals AC Milan and are in second place. In the previous season, Inter were the Serie A champions. Self-deprecating Inter Milan are wriggling to retake the Italian champions.
